Direct Kick
In a total team effort from start to finish, KUA Wildcats beat Proctor Academy 1-0. KUA’s Kaitie Sanders scored on a direct kick from 40 yards out with just 11 minutes to play to propel the Wildcats to victory. In a game played under a driving rain storm, KUA carried the play for most of the game.
Forwards Mackenzie Frazier and Shannon Walsh kept the pressure on the Proctor defense for all eighty minutes. KUA recorded 8 corner kicks to Proctor Academy’s 3 and held a 14 to 3 advantage in shots. Midfielders Lindsey Landwehrle and Joanna Schafer controlled the middle of the field for the Wildcats.
KUA’s next game is Wednesday October 3rd , when they host Tilton at 3:30.
